Seattle is my second home after moving from Shanghai, China 18 years ago. Meeting people with different backgrounds has shaped how I understand others and my sense of empathy.

Before UX, I was a passionate map enthusiast. That curiosity led me into working at Google Maps. It was my entry point into thinking about clarity in complex systems.

As a product designer, I work on complex systems with a focus on clarity and simplicity. I value diverse perspectives and see empathy as essential to great design.

With an open mind, I seize chances to travel the world, hunt for unique local food, and pick up new hobbies, from 3D printing and tennis to leatherworking.

I have a Corgi named Mango. She is incredibly friendly, loves everyone she meets, and once ran in a Corgi race.

I am a proud mother of two daughters. Parenting has deepened my patience, perspective, and understanding of different personalities and how each child thrives in their own way.
